What's included in the order?

Each set includes shell bodies for your mattress corners and one locking strip per shell, in packs of four, eight, or twelve. The shell measures 14.5 cm across the top, 12 cm at the base, and 8.5 cm tall, with a locking strip of 17.5 cm by 2 cm, all in moulded white plastic

Do I have to lift my mattress to fit these?

No. The shell sits over the bare mattress corner at corner height, and you pull the sheet over it. Nothing runs underneath, so there's no lifting or reaching beneath a heavy mattress. Handy if you have a platform bed against the wall or a bad back

Do I take them off every time I wash the sheets?

No. The shells stay on your mattress corners between washes. You release the locking strip to remove the sheet, wash it, then pull it back over the same shells and press the strip in again. The clips stay seated, so bed changes take the same time as before
